With the exchange rate as it is right now a McCruise is $810 shipped to the US
Hmmmm
-
It was like $900 USD 6 months ago. You may be right.

Wow you got me thinking (& saving $ for this)! After having CC on my new moto, would LOVE to see this on my C14 now!!
Is the McCruise pretty easy to install and setup? Any links, pics or vids for this?

It comes with a comprehensive set of instructions, with lots of pictures - and if you do run into trouble Frank and Tony are only a phone call away. I fitted the one on my 14, but we had to call for help with the FJR one. The guys are 100% behind their product.

Talk me into or out of getting a McCruise
All that you could ever want?

Bar the price, yes. I absolutely love it, but at nearly 1200AUD we are debating if we can actually afford one for our other 1400. If it was $800 I'd order it right now.
My 08 bike had some electrical accessories where the Cali model has the charcoal canister. This is where the actuator goes on the pre 2010 and McCruise hadn't at the time (mid 2016) done an early kit with the new electric actuator, so they sent enough cables and mounting brackets for me to play around with the location. Honestly, they couldn't possibly be more helpful.

If ya wanna buy stuff from the UK & EU now is also a good time as the $ is strong/Pound is weak, and our idiot government can't seem to understand that reducing taxes for the rich is NOT going to boost our economy. All that does is boost the rich's offshore savings accounts/investments.

Yea I've been buying lots of parts from the UK for my new bike. Part of it is the low prices & shipping, but also some of the parts are not available here in the US, only in UK or Canada.
