Title: Painted the lower fairings and bottom of the bags (blacked out)
Post by: tyler1015 on July 03, 2011, 08:55:28 PM: I am a blacked out freak. So I painted the lower fairings and the bottom of the bags. Reall love the look of it. I was amazed at how much it changed the look of the bike to me. Looks sleeker. Just thought I would share.

Did you do a metalic paint to match or just a gloss black? I can't really tell from the pics...

You painted a lot more than that... you painted covers, the shaft drive, swing arms, wheels, exhaust, bolt heads, etc. Pretty much everything. I don't like it, but to each his own! You are definitely ambitious :)

Tyler, could you run thru what you did to paint the final drive, and other misc silver bits? Maybe this deserves a new post, but thought I'd ask, since it looks good in a small picture (same as saying "looks goot at 60mph from 50 yards away" I think).
