Just turned 100,000 miles on my 2011 Connie. Still runs like new. Doesn't burn any oil between 5,000mi. oil changes. The most dependable bike Iv ever owned. Thank you Kawi.

:finger_fing11: Indeed!

:chugbeer: Congrats!
Sometimes it's about the age, sometimes it's about the mileage. But, neither seem to be an issue.

How many valve adjustments?

Congratulations! Hope to make it there someday.
Now for the question, what kind of oil? :stirpot:

To answer a couple of your questions: I have used Maxima triple ester full synthetic oil since the initial break in period for piston rings (50miles). I only did my first valve check at around 90K after an oil leak developed from the valve cover gasket, covered under warranty. While they were fixing that I had them replace plugs and do valve check. One exhaust valve was at .005. All other valves were in spec. Mechanic adjusted all back to center.

100,000 miles and only 36 posts? I need to change my priorities! ;)

FYI in 100K never had a single clutch, transmission or KIPASS problem ever. I change the clutch and brake fluid every year (never bled the clutch); tightened the head bearing once; replaced the rear shock, which was leaking from the preload mechanism and the seals on one front shock; 3TPS sensors all under warranty, one set of NGK plugs. Of course there were 4 sets of ECB brake pads and 10 sets of Michelin Pilot Road 2s, one coolant change, and 20 oil changes along the way. Never had a breakdown while traveling. That is one incredible track record. Sure surpasses my experiences with my Harley Davidsons. Thanks KAWI
