Title: Gen 2 engine bolt torque for MCE Canyon Cages
Post by: khager01 on July 10, 2017, 07:22:36 PM
Hello can somebody please provide me with the torque specs for the forward mounting bolts for the MCE Canyon cages.  I am talking about the one right behind the radiator hose on the right and the corresponding one on the left side.  These are M10X1.25 bolts the closest answer I could find is here by Mad River Marc,

The picture is showing the engine bracket bolts to be an M8.

Is the M10 bolt behind the radiator hose to which the Canyon cage mounts to called an  engine bracket bolt or an engine mount bolt.

The difference is 44 ft lbs for an M10 or 18 ft lbs for the M8

Did these bolts change  between gen1 and gen2?

Thanks

Kevin
