Title: Blue 2017 kawasaki concours 14
Post by: cpeny on January 01, 2017, 01:45:48 PM: So I took a look at the 2017 Kawasaki concours 14 at my local deal yesterday. I really wanted blue and took from the pictures on the web site that it was a much lighter blue than previous years. When I took a look it appeared nearly identical to the 2010 and other years. Dont get me wrong I like the dark blue that also seems to match the blue that was used on yamaha fjr1300 bikes as well. No the bike was not in the direct sunlight, it was inside with no direct lighting, so I am not so quick to write if off as being different just yet. Maybe someone else can answer this question better than me. I am about to make a purchase very soon and just trying to make sure I have all my facts right.

Post by: maxtog on January 01, 2017, 03:28:28 PM: I don't think many of us have even seen a 2017 in person, indoors or out. From the site photos, to me, it looked like another variant of medium blue such as the 2013.

Indeed. But had they worked harder on it, they could have presented us with "Delicious Presidential Supreme Blue Raspberry Dream"

It's simple....the Obama version will be a darker blue and the Trump version will be a lighter blue with age spots.
