Oh boy looks like someone's getting a new display! Have you tried disconnecting the battery to see if it resets?

Thats a good point, unfortunately I suspect Kawi won't warranty flashed ECUs. I know for a fact other manufacturers won't, looking forward to seeing Kawi's take on them.

Looks like the upper right section of the main window has frozen.
This is normally caused by a busted wire as the LCD keeps what is shown until it is reset or powered off.
Definitely a warranty claim if it won't go away with a full reset (bike battery removed for over 10 mins).

Your batent level is low, I'd look into that.

I hate when that happens.

It's just KiPass reminding you to pay your rent.
Ist there nothing that KiPass can't do?
-
a bad battery will make things haywire.
Could be an intermitent fault or loose conection.
That would be my first thing to rule out or replace.

Based on TV, your bike may be experiencing "Low T." :rotflmao:

I thought,"Low T" was a rapper.

Well, probably nothing worthwhile....

Its going in to the dealer this week. I sent in the picture to the Service Manager, about a week ago, he ordered me a new display.
btw, it does reset itself after turning off the engine. This happened twice now. I'll let the dealer take care of it. Thanks.

good move. Like others said, warranty issue.
Not like the windshield mechanism that fails while raising the Ultra-super-mega-domed pacific ocean cut 16 sq foot shield at 150 mph, and when they ask here what to do they get the put-the-OEM-shield-and-take-it-to-the-dealer-for-warranty-claim answer. :stirpot:

Going in tomorrow for the display and few other things. Wish me luck, probably won't get it back until end of next week. :(

Got it replaced. All good. However, I have 0 mile on my bike ;D. I asked the dealer if they not 'burn' the original miles on the meter or put a sticker somewhere on the bike to say it has more miles than what it has.....the answer was 'no'.
I wonder what I should say to the future buyer about the milage? ::)
-
Wont the service record indicate that the bike was serviced at xxxx miles? It's documented that you took the bike in for warranty work and I'm sure the mileage was noted on the service record...

You sign the title stating the actual mileage when selling the bike. If you don't disclose the actual mileage and its discovered you concealed it, it can be quite the fine and potential jail time. I believe they put it under the "fraud" umbrella of offenses....

As long as you disclose it when you sell it you're fine.

If I sell it 3 year from now to a guy live in a different state, who would find out? I am not saying I am going to do that, but it seems that this process (replacing the meter) has some holes in it. That's all.

Tell the truth. It's no big deal.
