that was awesome.... that dog is related to mine for sure.... I just fed her, she's been pushing the metal food bowl around the kitchen for 20 minutes, banging it into everything.... its a nightly thing.... usually I shred up a small piece of boiled chicken and crumble it on top of the dry special diet food...($35 for 8#)... keep a container of cooked chicken in the fridge...
ran out tonight....so she just stared at me when I set the bowl down... and actually pushed it over to the fridge.... smartass.....
I fixed her, I turned on the warm water, put about a half cup in the bowl and shook it up till it got "juicy".... and she gobbled it all up like it was steak...
now she's sitting next to the stove, watching the pan I'm boiling her chicken in, and grumbling at me... tomorrows another day..

If I give my dogs a 'special' treat with their food, like chicken. I have to place the treat under their regular dry food otherwise they eat the treat and leave the food then look at me for more. :)

I couldn't drink wine or liquor around my dog as he'd slobber all over the floor while thinking 'well?'. Please note, when he was a puppy, the breeder would give him a small drop of Scotch every now and then. Dog had a good memory. That must have happened to me when I was little as well.
