Anyone have any experience with D & D exhaust systems?
Found some on eBay that fit ZX14s and wonder about application to duals for the C14.
Appreciate any input.

Obnoxiously loud.

Had D&D on my other bikes...
TOO F#$KIN LOUD! No noticeable gain in horse power, saved like 10-15 lbs in weight.
If I remember correctly, didn't sound that good either, but again, it was on a different bike.
You should go with MUZZY!

Their nickname is Deaf and Dumb. they are really loud pipes. If you like loud then you will love them.

Thanx, guys. Appreciate your input. I do like a bit more sound than stock, but not too loud. I had dual Area P's on my ZX14 and could not ride without ear plugs. REALLY LOUD !!
Reason I looked at the D&Ds is they are relatively inexpensive compared to Muzy and others.
What I'm really looking for is a 2" left side midpipe that will hook up to the stock ZX14 header and to an aftermarket can, like the Holeshot on the right side of my C14. Trying to save some dough and use what I have in stock and avoid buying a complete Muzy system. The sound the Holeshot single makes is very reasonable under normal running, and very nice at WOT.
Not sure a ZX14 mid pipe would work ??

I once had a set of D&D pipes on a Blackbird. At idle they sounded awesome, but when you dropped a couple gears and rolled on the throttle it sounded like the gates of hell opened up. If you like setting off car alarms every place you go, get some D&D's... :D

+1 on what everyone else has said. I had a d&d on a previous sportbike and they are extremely loud. Too loud for my taste.

All a matter of taste. Had them on a CBR1000, and they were the best sounding piped I've ever owned. But yes - DAMN loud!
