Title: Oops, a carburetor question
Post by: John Mc on January 09, 2016, 03:34:59 PM
Hi all,
Ms. Piggy sat for a long while in southeat Lousiana and the carbs gummed up.  Took them apart and now I am uncertain how a part goes back.  There is a steel sleeve that connects the main jet to the ventura.  At first glance, I though both ends were the same.  Now, I see one end is convex and the other concave.  Also, one end has a larger diameter hole.  Which end goes up and into the ventura?  Sheesh, better pay attention the next time....
Thanks in advance for the help.

Happens quite a lot as no one expects a small part to just fall out... Double checked the manual and it said insert the smaller diameter end first.

Steve just to clarify that "concave" is the end with the divot correct?
