Hey guys. Any thoughts on a tank bag with map window that's easy to put on and release for a 2009 C14- I live in Manhattan and street park most months. Thanks.

Bagster tank cover and bag.

if you don't mind the bag covering up your central glove box, how about magnetic tank bags?
i've been using FirstGear - Onyx daily on my bike for about 3-4 years. i use the side strap when i'm off the bike, there's backpack straps hidden under the magnetic flaps too.
easy to put on and take off since it's magnetic.
pretty big map window, expandable to fit a full face helmet.

Thanks for all the replies. Some great options. I think I'll go with a magnetic solution since it really will be quickest on-off both for fueling and for parking.
jtk1531 - looks perfect for what I'm looking for and the price is right! Thanks!

If you keep your motorcycle tank bag in the garage and you also use your garage as a shop or for various projects occasionally involving files and or hacksaws, then you'll need to fastidiously check the magnets for metal particle pick up. If not, sooner rather than later you will scratch up your bike. Yes lots of magnetic tank bags in use, and lots of scratched tanks as well. Be careful and find a system either to ensure clean magnets or frequent checking.
When metal particles do stick to the magnets, I've found that a thorough air gun blast is about the easiest way to get rid of them. Trying to pick them off or using tape is tedious and usually incomplete. That's 50 percent of why I went with the bags connection quick lock ring, the other 50 percent was to get the bag easily electrified for cell phone, etc. charging using the electrified ring.

Marty, how well does the bag fit the slope of the tank?

I think well, but stand by for a photo. YOMV
edit I guess not as well as I remembered. I forgot that I had moved it back (the mount receiver under the bag can be moved across a short range by making new holes) for bar clearance after I installed the AST pull back adapters. It doesn't look so great now.
I also forgot to mention how ugly the mount is when the bag isn't on it. (I've grown used to it.) Those issues aside it's a great bag and it can expand to hold a lot of stuff.

I've got the Cortech Super 2.0 18l magnetic tank bag. It has some good features and it works for me.

You mean I have to get out of the Lazyboy to see the pic?
-
Pilgrim, that looks good. How close to the bag are the bars at full lock?

At full lock they touch, just slightly. But, that doesn't happen very much, only when you're maneuvering to park.

No, poor choice of words on my part. I had to get out of my LazyBoy to go take the first two photos. I even put my pants on, but I stayed in my slippers.

Thanks Marty. I have the same bar to bag problem. Cortech Dryver set back on it's mounting ring. Honks the horn on a full lock left. As Pilgrim said it's just on walking speed maneuvers. Irritating none the less.

+1 on the Cortech

My magnetic tank bag has scratched my tank...twice and all because of what Marty described. The bag picked up metal >:( :'(!

So far no scratchs. I keep my bag in a large garbage bag when not in use as I do some metal work in the garage. I only use mine about 10 days a summer though.
