Haven't tried them, haven't heard or seen any reviews about them either until reading the one in your link.
So da German mag reviews da German made tire and it wins hands down. Could be possible they're right.
They only used one type of bike, doesn't say if they used multiple riders. Or give a estimated mileage for the tire.
The FJR is 70 lbs lighter then the C14 if that has any bering on this test? Possible.
I'm curious what they cost because I know the PR4GT's are a little pricey.
I ride with a few peeps that use nothing else but Metzler. The number of people I ride with that use Michelin is 8 to 1 that will use nothing else( until something better arrives ;D )
It'd be nice to see some rave reviews from a couple of Connie owners about these tires.

On another note the PR4GT's I use have cost me $1100.00 this season. Be nice to have a cheaper option that has comparable performance and mileage.
Changing my tires at 13000kms is ok considering the weight of this bike. I never had that kind of mileage on my last bike that was 200lbs lighter. Was lucky to see 7500kms to a set on the Bandit. Although I never tried the PR4's on it either.

I may give the Z8's a try for my next set of shoes. I love the Michelin PR 4 GT, on my second set. I will look into the cost of the Z8's

Let me know if you can get them cheaper then the link in my last post.
Cheers
