I've been talking with Charlie747 via texting and I'm having issues sending pics along with the texts. His pics are about 27k when they come through and actually don't look bad. Mine going back are pretty big...over 700someK and just die. I'm thinking there's a restriction on the size either with his phone or his carrier. I can send the same pic to my wife's phone without issue. I guess my question is how do I get a pic down as small as 27k or so? My phone will compress, but not that small. If I downsize the pic then the resolution goes to :censored: t. I have a Galaxy S5.

There's an application I use called Irfanview which can reduce the size of a pic:
Image -> Resize/Resample

I need an app on the phone to do the shrinking..

Just found "Reduce Photo Size" in the app store on my GS5 that seems to be very easy to use.
I just reduced an image from 1.5 m to 38k in one easy step.

Me likee.. What size did you use to reduce to? I have no idea what WXGA, XGA, WSVGA, DVGA, etc mean.

Thanks. I'll drink a Pepsi tomorrow in your honor. It worked!

I usually target somewhere in the 800 x 450 or so range.
