I bought a Techmount for my GPS from Murph and I was having a problem getting one of the mounts to tighten up. I contacted Techmount and told them what was going on. They said that they would send me out a new part right away at no charge. It seems that they had a issue with this part and tightened up the tolerances.
See the pic below, the part with an X through it was the problem.

Can't speak for their CS, but their products rock. I have the same Techmount mount for my '10 C14 and several adapters (for several devices).
I sandwiched this particular RAM mount extension plate between the Zumo cradle and the Techmount adapter (ball end UP):

That way, I can use a short RAM arm like this (usually positioned horizontally so I can see the entire multi-function screen on the dash):

... to attach a second cradle above the GPS, such as this one which works great for a Kenwood radio, an iPod/iPhone, etc.:
