I just purchased the rear bag protectors for my C-14 that are made by MC Enterprises. The price through Amazon.com (supplied by Powersport Superstore) was $157. If you go to the Powersport Superstore web site, they are priced at $175.
It is worthwhile checking Amazon.com for prices when you are looking for accessories. I do not have a local shop that could supply the parts that I wanted.

Good tip, thanks.
For those of you wondering, they are installed on my bike and not on a shelf. ;D

Yup. Amazon (especially with Prime membership) makes online shopping way too easy. The powerful vacuum tube they have running into my wallet is quite relentless. :)

You got that right..

I always check Amazon before I buy anything.
$175 <=> $157. I'll bet that someone transposed the numbers.

I usually check several vendors and a google search before making a purchase. If I find a great price at an unknown vendor, I try and get a known vendor to match. It has worked out well several times, but bit me once. The known vendor said the manufacturer restricts the pricing and the unknown vendor was breaking policy and he would not match. By the time I went back to the unknown vendor to make the purchase, the price had been changed. Me thinks someone complained.
I have found that ridersdiscount will beat anyones price on items they can get for you. I have bought items from them that no one has on sale and saved up to 25%.
