Last year I bought my 2014 Concours from Kawasaki City in Irving Texas (near Dallas).
Salesman's name was Adrian Sifuentes.
He gave me what I thought (and still do) was a great price on my bike.
We have talked quite a bit, he's well aware of me, COG, and the folks in this club.
I've sent several people to him to buy new Connies.
Since I bought from him, he has helped me arrange the Group Purchase of Shoei Helmets that you may have seen on the COG forum.
To me, he seems to be good folks...
Anyway, today he sent a note and asked If I knew of anyone looking to buy a 2013 (New) at a good price.
I told him I'd post the note.
So, read it, and if your interested, give him a call.
Ping me if I can answer any questions...
PS: Nothing in this for me. Just trying to pass on a deal to others and help him clear inventory..

$9,949.00 "Out the Door" on "out of state" bikes.
Hoping someone in the group is looking to get a great deal on a new bike.
Thanks

wow
Thats a steal

Note, that "out the door" "out of state" price is cash. Financing will require the dealer to handle the state requirements (title, reg etc.) of the state the buyer is from...usually through a broker.
-
Adrian does this all the time. He can advise....
I haven't done an out of State buy in some time. (A long time ago)
The one time I did this; after I got the bike home, (Yamaha YZ-50),,, I just went to the Tax Office, registered the bike, and paid appropriate registration fees.
I assume a buyer could contact Adrian, make the deal, arrange financing before he leaves home, and bring Kawasaki City a Cashiers Check.
Mine is a Texas Bike.
When I bought mine, I had just had a knee replaced. and couldn't be there.
So, I called him, made the deal, (wife arranged (begged) $$ at my bank) and put it in our checking account.
My wife/son went to Irving, she wrote a check, and picked up the bike.
As Caffeinated stated;
The Out Of Sate price does not include State Registration costs.
(Which is why it is lower than the Texas Bike)
The Buyer will handle the Registration fees in the State in which he registers the bike.

Hope this re-appears next year about this time. I can fly to Tx for less than $1500.
Thanks!

Yes that is a very nice price...I would buy one if I was a bit more wealthy.

They have any Goldwings? Sorry.... had to ask though!

That's great pricing. Lowest prices I've seen up here in the north east is $11,999.

I went by there today, it's real.
Thought one might grab me. Still thinking on it.
Bought two '09s there, cost nearly the same back then.
Helluva deal. :)

Smokin deal, thanks for the heads up

I passed this information on to a friend and he could not make a deal with them. He is from Ohio and they kept telling him $10500 and wouldn't give him squat for his barely used '11 ZX10R.
I guess this is one of those situations where those with the cash in hand make the deal.

This is also true of them and most all dealers around here. If you have a nice bike, it's tough to trade unless you're giving up a lot. They always end up with a collection of crappy unwanted used bikes that are hard to sell. Go figure, right?

I posted his name, but forgot to mention.
When you call about this, ask to talk to "Adrian"....
I'll attach a phone number... 972-438-9425
My guess; On a deal like this, their selling to clear inventory.
So, the bike their selling is cut to the bone.
Not much/any left to give big $$ on a trade in...

Update: Sent note to Adrian. He said Out Of State is $9,949.00 "Out the Door"

Prices like that usually don't want a trade. Buy the bike at the great price and sell your other bike yourself.
-
My thought for the Out Of State Folks is:
Drive in with a trailer
or
Book a cheap Airline Ticket and ride it home.
Sounds like a good reason to do a Cross Country Ride!! ;D

I agree with Ted- fly in and ride it home. After all, TX is less than a two- day ride from anywhere in the continental US, and only three from Alaska.

I called Adrian yesterday. He said the out of state price was a typo, it's actually $9949. Still a good price.

And to my buddy he said $10500.
Reminds me though about the CB1100 I was trying to negotiate on last summer. Found a great price in Southern MO that I was trying to get the dealer in TN to match. I called the dealer in MO and verified the OTD price. The local dealer called and just asked "how much" instead of confirming the price I gave him. The MO dealer said $1000 higher because he figured if the caller wasn't aware of the advertised deal then he might make more money. I was pissed at the local dealer and said "see ya".
Then I found my Guzzi and am much happier.

I went back and changed all the notes to read $9949 as pat8228 stated.
(The note I originally posted was a copy of Adrian's original note).
The typo was his, not mine. But my apologies for the confusion anyway..
2Wheel, if your Buddy is still interested, have him call Adrian again and refresh his memory..
Adrian clearly goofed if he sed $10,500.

Financing will require the dealer to handle the state requirements (title, reg etc.) of the state the buyer is from...usually through a broker.
Most financing companies would provide a check that you can use as if paying cash, so no 'broker' needed (most of the times you can get a better deal on your own, since dealers like to get kickbacks). And if your state requires a physical inspection, it'd cost a lot of $$$ for a broker to do that anyway. Then you can register the bike in your state, which is cake. After the state inspection, you just need proof of insurance and a DMV office to register the bike (and dealer invoice, of course).
And yes, if you want a great deal on a purchase, you'd get creamed with a trade. Can't have it both ways ;D. Better to sell privately indeed.

Talked to Adrian recently.
All 5 of these bikes have been sold.
