Title: Loose Front Fender
Post by: oldsmoboat on April 03, 2015, 05:43:21 PM
I bought the bike used so I am not sure how tight the fender should be.  I assume it shouldn't move.
Bolts are tight but there is slop in there.  I don't see any washer in the parts list.  I assume this isn't normal.

I haven't had this problem with mine but I've heard tell that there are some rivets that hold the mounting bracket to the fender and they can become loose over time.

Some have had luck with trying to tighten up the rivets with a hammer and a punch, and others have drilled out and replaced the rivets.

Joe, told you right.
Tighten the fender at the rivets.

Ride safe, Ted
