Gary,

My position has changed at work and they now provide me with a car for emergency responses. They expect me to drive it!
The majority of my riding was back and forth to work.

Thinking about a KLR 650

Here is the scoop on the Concours.

I have put 30, 000 on it with no issues at all. I am willing to put another 30K on it.

I bought it in Paducah KY. I went with this bike because it didnt have the factory bags and I dont like the look of the suit cases.

Fork brace installed

throttle miester cruise control
It rides like a dream

It has been lowered 2 inches, I have the original parts to put it back to factory height.

I also have the factory and lowered side and center stands.

The pegs have been lowered for a more comfortable riding position,

The handlebars have been raised 1 1/4 (i believe) for a more upright position.

The valves were adjusted and carbs synced last year.

I trimmed the fairing to expose the engine and alleviate the typical hot airflow over your right foot. Mostly because I like the way it looks though.

The coolant tank has been relocated under the seat. I used a tank off of a  GSXR.

Its an awesome bike, I rode it to North Carolina in one day and it handled the "tail of the Dragon" with ease.

Taking offers

Let me know if you have any questions.
