Anyone know what size these screws are (attachment)? I'm guessing M6 thread but have no idea what the length is and don't want to pull them to find out...anyone??

Front Caliper Mounting Bolts: Only torque specs are listed in the service manual, not type/size/length of bolts.

Crud...I bought longer one recently to mount driving lights there.
But...not sure that I remember the thread pitch. 6 x 1.25 x 70 or 75 mm.
I bought 80mm and 85mm bolts, so the originals were shorter.

Ron Ayers parts fiche has them listed as 10 x 60.

I would strongly suggest these are special hardened or high-strength steel and shouldn't be replaced with hardware store quality bolts.

Probably very good advice. It is amazing how many different types of metal alloys and their various properties. Front brake failure would be one of the most dangerous types of failures I can think of on a motorcycle. Caliper bolts will see a lot of stress- repeated torque, bumps, vibration, road spray/environmental, etc.

Thanks guys...this is something I'm not ready to mess with and have other "mounting" alternatives for my fog lights. I wanted to know what the screws were, just-in-case!

And heat!
