Intense! I'll definitely be going to that movie. I think Clint Eastwood is better behind the camera then he ever was in front of it.
-
He is a great director, but he was also a great actor.
-
I'll be seeing this one.
-
Wow! That is intense!
-
LEG! ??

I'm sure its a good film but I won't see it, it will just pi$$ me off.

I hate films that do that... I'm not much into watching modern films on the military. It's not the same military I grew up with and typically it's ground forces, not the air. I prefer air.
-
shooting from the air is easy..."just don't lead 'em as much.."

Infantry and Marines lead the way.....unless you drop an A-bomb, wars are won on the ground my friend. ;)
Oh how I wish we could turn an entire region into glass "from the air", anything short of that is not going to help or do a damn thing.

I agree totally that wars are won on the ground, but without solid air support (AF, Marines, Army), the going can be quite tough and un-winable. There's really nothing like a good...

By the beloved B-52 (not the group, the aircraft). Too bad most of them are in mothballs or turned into recycled metal.

Assuming total dominance of the airspace above the battle ground and JDAM, the B-52 has become a great close air support aircraft. Pin point accurate bombing and loiter for hours. Marcus Luttrell could have used one in Afghanistan. Who would have guessed this when it was being designed for nuclear war?
