I have never had a harder time with electrical connectors as I have with the Fuel Tank Electrical connectors. The two at the rear of the fuel tank. They just will not separate. Is there a trick I don't know about? Can someone give me the Grand Poobah Handshake? :D

I assume you have located and are pressing the locking tab that holds the two parts together. If so, there can still be considerable resistance because this type of connector has a rubber gasket inside that seals out water and crud.
Make sure you have the tab fully unlocked and you are grasping the two parts, one in each hand, and pull firmly. Do not pull on only one side of you may tear the wires or pull the connector pins out the back.

There is just one tab on each connector right? I keep thinking I'm missing something, like there are two tabs and I'm missing one :-\

It's been a while but I believe there is only one tab. If you can't see it clearly you might try a small mirror just to make sure. I know it's tight getting to them, I think the folks who assemble these things have tiny hands with long fingers.

They are locking connectors and you must unlock them before they will separate. The locking tabs are "backwards" and you have to push them the correct way.
Look on the female connector for a small blade (plastic) underneath a tab of plastic. Push that blade away from the connector and the connector will separate. The inclination is to push the blade the wrong way for most of us I think.
By the way, pull only on the connector rather than the wire(s). Not everyone crimps the contacts on like I do ;) and pulling a wire out of a contact will really ruin your day.
