Title: Started my romance with an Italian Beauty
Post by: twowheeladdict on August 08, 2014, 09:16:44 AM
She is young, agile, and sexy!

She is not particularly fast, but what fun to ride!

2010 Moto Guzzi V7 cafe classic with only 768 miles on her.

I had been looking at and test riding Triumph Thruxtons, but this bike is a better balance of components and almost 100 lbs lighter.  I just couldn't pass her by, and once I rode her I was hooked.

I rode a 750 Brava that a girlfriend had, and it was fun to ride because of it's lightness. It was a dog power-wise, but nevertheless, an enjoyable ride.

Enjoy your new bike!

She is a beautiful bike.  I've been thinking about getting something like her as well.

Thanks.  I would love to add this fairing to the bike, but it looks like I missed the window of opportunity since this model was only made from '09 - '12 worldwide and only came to the states in '10.

This one just doesn't capture that cafĂ© look IMO.  I would probably leave it naked before adding this one.

Definitely need bar end mirrors first thing.

Guzzis are like potato chips. Bet ya can't own just one.
Now you will have to buy red suspenders.
Harper's may have what you are looking for in a shield/fairing.
Welcome to the madness!
Have you checked out wildguzzi.com?

Molto bella!

Edit:when ya call em tell em Two Checks sent ya. If anyone has or can get that fairing, Harper's will.

Rode 400 miles on the fully loaded Concours today.  Got home and hopped on the Guzzi for a backroad ride.  An hour later I made it home for supper.  Still feeling her out, but having a blast.

Especially since I added two bikes this year.  I do need to clean the shop this weekend so I will try and get that done.   8)
