Does anybody know if the Baldwin Grand Touring Seat pushes you into the fuel tank or not?
-
I have one I bought from a forum member. I still feel the downward slope, but only a tiny fraction of what the OEM seat does.
If you're having it custom-made, and the old "I keep cooking my eggs on the gas tank" downslope is a problem, they can put extra effort into making sure it doesn't glide you downward

I have a Baldwin and don't find myself sliding into the tank. Sorry, don't have any experience with other seats besides the original.
-
I do tend to slide forward a bit, however not all the way to the tank like the OEM seat.

I have a Baldwin and I don't slide forward at all, I'm 6'3" and it's a very comfortable seat. On the stock I had to stop every few hundred miles at least and after 500 it was miserable. The Baldwin took me through and ironbutt easily.
