I contacted him. Filled out his form. Even spoke to him on the phone. That was three weeks ago. Then I was away, maybe he's away? I'm impressed with his seats. I'd LIKE to give him my business but, anyone know what's up with him and his shop? Maybe he's having an emergency elsewhere? Just curious because I don't want to bug him if there's a good reason. I can't find anywhere on his site that says he doesn't sell to Canadian customers...

Try to contact him trought Facebook , i'm from Quebec and i got fast answer trought facebook (LAAM seat) page....
BTW my seat is perfect !!

OK. I just tried that. I didn't think of that. I have written him from his website and no responses. Let's see how that goes.

I know Seth is a one man show but the reputation of slow communication is pretty common on multiple forums. A part time Admin person would make a huge difference with customers.

Same here...been two weeks. Guess he has all the business he wants.

Yep. I got tired of waiting so went with a local custom interior shop. Very pleased but about 30-40% more money....but much quicker.

Loren at Baldwin Saddles will sell you an equally good seat. He was prompt with his responses to me.

Seth was on vacation the last week or so. He is backed up a bit, but he is going strong.
Have patience, art is not to be hurried! ;D

I emailed Seth and asked a question regarding a new seat but haven't heard back so I'll ask you guys...when ordering a new seat from Laam, do you have to send your seat to him or does he build it around another pan?
-
Have to send him a seat.

Have to send him a seat.
How long does it take? I ride every day so the thought of parking the bike for an extended period of time sucks!
-
after my seat received ,3 days later my Laamseat was on shipping.
-
what he said, You will get a build date, mail yours, and he will have it 2-3 days and send it back.

Great...thanks guys!
