Title: Nube question
Post by: VTer Bob on June 11, 2014, 07:49:25 PM
I was looking for an FSM on ebay but it seems all the manuals I saw skip over the 1998 and 1999 model years. Can somebody explain why? Is there a different manual for these years or are these years unchanged from 1997 so no new manuals were published those years? Is the Clymer a good manual or is the FSM best?

Thanks in advance for any insights.

98 & 99 are pretty much unchanged, other than colors.  You do not need a specific manual, but from experience, the factory manual is FAR better than a Clymer, haynes etc., especially if you have enough mechanical background that you don't have to have every little detail explained.  Good Luck

Thank you Leo. I will peruse ebay and find myself an FSM. As far as mechanical ability, Jack Roush doesn't call for advice, but I know which end of a screwdriver to hold on to. Ride safe!
