Title: SOLD! : Russell Day Long seat for C14
Post by: C14lvr on June 09, 2014, 08:52:42 PM
Bought this seat used from the original owner 6 months ago.
His measurements seemed to be like mine, so I gave it a try.

This is a great seat, very comfortable. But I have to tip-toe at stops.
I am 5'11", 195#, w/ a 30" inseam.
I went with another seat, and it's working for me.

So, up for sale is a very nice Russell. Fit's '08- present C14.
If your legs are longer, this will work for you.

I have only used it 3 times in the past 6 months.
It worked great with my AST touring pegs.

Asking $525. Price includes shipping in the US. Outside the US, please let me know where you are, and I'll check on the cost. At this price, I'm only seeking to get back my investment, and allowing up to $50 for the shipping.

UPDATED INFO: located in the Tulsa, OK area (Skiatook) 74070

Ughhh... glad you didn't say you accept Paypal.

Can you get a knee down with this seat? I lay it down more when I'm sans a pillion.

If it didn't have that passenger seat done.  On my latest tour, my only issue was sore behind.

Good luck with the sale.

Where are you located?

Skiatook, Ok 74070...
(Suburb, 20 miles north of Tulsa.)

I've added that info to my original post now.
(Thank you for the reminder! Forgot to add that!)

Yes, I've seen the Russells that have a conventional passenger seat instead of the bucket.
But, this design is a bit more comfortable for the passenger, and has more of an incline towards the front portion to help prevent sliding forward.
