Murph's brace is an excellent product.  It's a snap to install.

Superbrace was the only large company to offer a brace for the Concours and it was bike specific. All other braces to the best of my memory were made by small Mom and Pop machine shops. Today Murph is your best choice and likely your only choice.

not likely to stumble upon one from another bike to fit the 99 C10.
the dimensions are not the least bit common between different bikes.

Ahhhh you were one year off! The forks changed for the 99 year, and I have a 86-98 fork brace for sale lying in my garage....

To be honest, you have the newer generation of forks that are simply put, better. I had the brace on my 86 and it made a WORLD of difference..... on my 06 though, I didnt notice a beneficial change. I ran to buy it because it was pretty much a necessity on the 86 with the weak forks, and I simply expected the same on the 06. Honestly, I think I could run without it, and not notice it.

Have you noticed a wobble and ruled out all the other culprits?

To be honest, I put one on my 01 and I the first thing I noticed was that while the bike tracked a hard curve no differently than before what was clear and plain as day was that if you hit any pot holes, road debris, expansion joints, frost heaves all so common on MI roads was that the bike did not become nearly as upset as without...
