He may have still won, but he wouldn't have been up to what he was on  that uber-light, short wheel based, 2 stroker bike

I don't think I would make it past the first obstacle and the boulders with tree stumps is right out.

Speaking of nuts, it makes my nuts hurt just watching it.  Impressive.

I've never even heard of this event before. But if one is ever held anywhere near me I'm going to go watch it. I'd never seen a motocross or supercross event until Motocross De Nations came to Denver in 2010. Holy $hit it is totally different watching in person than on TV. Watching those guys go by 30 feet in the air, smelling the exhaust is just awesome.

smelling the exhaust is just awesome.
Fire up a two stroke and grab a beer first thing in the morning. Doesn't get any better than this.

That guy is awesome!

That looks like my younger days with my cousins riding along the river trails - except for that wall on the middle of the bridge ramp - we didn't have that.  That would be an awesome event to do or be a spectator.  I grew up doing Hare Scrambles that would run all day.  The main thing, if you notice, is to not slow down in the wrong spot.  That, and get around the morons who are trying to push their bikes thru the stump section.
