As a pilot, working on my IFR rating, I can relate.
And I can imagine a non-pilot in the right seat (on Tuesday, as a matter of fact ;) ) as we blow over/around/through the Continental Divide to Steamboat Springs.

Next time, fly on over to EGE. We'll make it a flight of two.

Stay tuned! But if you're not doing anything this Tues about 11:00a local, I can at least do a landing there. WX looks to be good. I *have* to be back B4 1:45.
None of the trainers will get me to MEA over the divide easily, so it'd be VFR in a barf-rocket. Doing IFR from LMO to EGE would be cool though :)

I am working at the preschool on Tues.
I am off Wed. (but my plane is in for a flap repair).

Wed/Thur looks like snow. Fri may be doable. Flaps fixed by then?

Not likely, they don't have the parts yet.
