You should be singing the song then....

'Nine more days and I'll be gone, do- dah, do- dah.'

It has been my experience that your co-workers will REALLY like it when you do that.... repeatedly. Don't forget to increment the number down as you go.... After a few days of that you can just whistle the tune and they will get cranky :-)

Eight is the date to be late.

Not too late to change yer mind C, think of all the excitement you will miss at work, the boredom, the decisions you will have to make, such as what time do I get up today?  Which jeans to wear, or is it a PJ day.  The transformation from working man to retired man isn't for the faint at heart, consider wisely grasshopper, for the world as you knew it is about to change, and it truly does have it's challenges.

I think that I'm up to the challenge C. For a long time now I've been practicing doing nothing here at work and I think that I have it down now. I just wanted to make sure that I was able to make the transition from doing nothing at work to doing nothing at home.   ;)

If you are doing nothing, how do you know when you are done?

There's always tomorrow to finish up right?
