So this morning as I left during sunrise I found both low beams were out. I took my chances and a mix of no headlights and high beams I made it to work without dying or getting pulled over. I hoped it was a fuse, but it was not. Checked the low beam fuse and the relay fuse. Plus I swapped the high and low beam fuse with no change.
Luckily I have my OEM's at home somewhere so I can change those out. Plus I ordered new Philips Vision from Murphs (http://www.murphskits.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=130_137&products_id=304). I'm sure they went out at different times. What have been the life of your Philips?
Yes I was careful not to get fingers on the bulbs when I put them in.

I've been using the Philips from Murph's for just over a year. I like em just fine.

I had both of my low beam filaments burn out between gas stops. Had to run high beams for the rest of the trip.

I'm thinkin I bought mine about two years ago. Maybe it was time.

Luckily going back to the OEMs did the trick for now. Which is good, I didn't like the idea of riding at sunrise without my low beams. I don't like blinding drivers with highs from the rear. The city lights seem to do the trick to prevent anyone from freaking out too much.
I've been really surprised lately how many bikes in the bay area ride around without a headlight.

As long as they have those loud pipes they should be alright. ::)
