Just put this Oxford Sport heated grip kit on my '09, and it worked out great 8)
Wish I'd gotten around to it sooner. They've got a good feel to the grip, and of course they get quite toasty!
The controller is easy to use and looks good on the bracket they give with it.
Two warm thumbs up ;D

Looks great. Is that the "sports style" grip Oxford sells?
How hard was the install?

Yes it is, and not too difficult.
I was even able to remove the stock grips with no damage to them.
Wiring was simply tied in to the accessory outlet behind the right dash panel, since I wanted a switched source, and that circuit is already fused for 10 amps.
Bit of patience with cable routings and ties is all. The bracket is sweet and easy with all hardware provided in kit.

How are the grips themselves? I was looking at these and wonder about the diameter. I hated the stock grips since they were too small in diameter and installed the ones from Murph's. Mine is a 2009. Are these larger in diameter than the stock 2009 grips?
Also, how are they for vibration damping? I read the review of the touring model and someone complained about that.

I'm shopping for heated grips for my '08, and those do look cool. Things I don't like: You have to control each side individually, and to put both on high takes 12 clicks. Also, I've read that they're very difficult to operate with gloves on, especially while riding.

Problems solved with heat troller controller instead of the oxford one...

On order, I should have a pair within the next week. From what Daryl told me they are light years ahead of anything else. I'll post up as soon as I have a pair.

I was referring to a previous reply, about the A'ME grips. Everything is embedded in the grips (power button, LED status light, controller). The grips themselves are supposed to be top notch. They even come with the throttle tube and cable cam. They get wired directly to the battery, and shut off when they detect battery discharge.

There are a couple youtube and web reviews about them, and it turns out they have some drawbacks, but still on my list, along with the Oxfords.
