Hello all!
Looking to see what known calipers are compatible with a concours? This is not for an upgrade, just piecing a concours front end for another bike and need to search for calipers.
Older/newer zx10r calipers(tokiko) will work or only nissins?

Interesting. I don't recall anyone swapping calipers on a c14.

Used on these bikes...

That's nice. Does Partzilla show common usage on all parts?

Dunno. You have to input the part number so you have to know that ahead of time. Ron Ayers used to have a place to input that but they've changed their website and now I can't find it anymore.

- have looked at this before and couldn't find anything authoritative.
- all calipers (eg , brembo M40/M50 monoblocks) are rated by (a) bolt spacing and (b) offset.
- bolt spacing is obvious : the spacing between the two mounting bolts for the radial calipers that are on almost all modern bikes nowadays.
- the offset is the center line off-set calculated from the mounting bolts to the center of the brake discs.
- common fittings are 108 mm spacing and 25.5 mm offset for big bikes.

just imagine how awesome a set of brembo calipers would look on the 14, especially next to a set of Ohlins , bling bling

I have a set of Brembo calipers off of an R6 that I would LOVE to mount on my C14 (They're from an old GSXR swap I never did on my SV when I had it). Anybody have a clue if they would fit?

Well, It's not a C14, and just an "Ohlinified" Kayaba, but here's Brembos on a Kawasaki. Funny story how they ended up there. I had a Whiskey-gathering with some buddies 8 years ago and decided to end a realy wet evening playing battlefield. ( allways nice with some GUI , Gaming under the influence). I must have gone out on ZRXOA forum and stumbled over a thread just like this one about puting Brembos on a Rex, The next day I saw a message from Ebay congrating me for winning an auction on a set of new Brembo 4P calipers. Ouch! (have to put alco-lock on my computer... :o).Fortunaly I found a set of adapters in japan but had to have 320 mm rotor. Got a custom set made by ISR in Tumba-Sweden. Realized that the master brake cylinder diameter had to be altered and changed to Nissin Master cylinder for both brake and Clutch. Soo, that was quite an expensive intoxication. :) But Brembos are nice....
