They didn't work for me. No problem with quality or anything like that. It's just that it changed my sitting position and I felt more comfortable with the stock location even though my knees are more bent. Also I had to adjust the shifter and the rear brake. No problem on the shifter but I had to cut a bit off the stud on the rear brake to get the position low enough. I've since put it back and it's no problem back in the stock position with a shorter stud but you should be aware of the possibility that you might need to do that.

I went with Murph's lowering pegs instead: http://www.murphskits.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=130_133&products_id=401 (http://www.murphskits.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=130_133&products_id=401) but they both seem to be pretty similar in the amount the peg is lowered. Personally I am very happy with the lower pegs - a huge improvement in comfort.
As Rhino mentioned, you need to cut a bit of the rear stud off for the rear brake but its a very simple process with a hand grinder - I'm no mechanic and I had the pegs swapped and ground the stud to adjust the brake in probably 30 minutes.

I used a Dremel with a cut off wheel. Took about 5 seconds.

I have MC's extensions on my 2012 Arabian Red. Work great but as with any peg lowering options, they will drag that much sooner when cornering!! They do provide more comfort though.

I have a set. I like them, but as others have said, the foot pegs drag earlier that before.
They went on easily, and adjusting the shifter was a snap. Adjusting the brake lever took a little more work (cut down the bolt with a Dremel), but that works fine also.
I found it easier to make a sport/touring bike comfortable than to make a touring bike sporty. ;D

For me, the Connie is a road liner. When I start scraping its only on a slow 90% corner. I have done the ol' super Motard lift you leg around the corner deal,but for me this is just too heavy of a bike to be railing corners that hard as I am not interested in finding the limit. :) I will say that I am impressed with the neutral position they leave my knees at. For me its the difference of only riding for a few hours, vs a 950 mile day.
Now for the seat!

A couple of people on the other thread said the MC Larry lowering adapter has less cornering clearance than the Murphs and pushes the pegs out more. Some people also said the Murphs push your feet out from the bike.
1. If you take off the peg feelers, is the MC Larry still less clearance than the Murphs?
2. Does anyone that's tried both find that the MC Larry adapters push your feet further out than the Murphs?
