Well it was only a matter of time, but I laid my connie down and went for a pavement ride! Mostly cosmetic damage on the left side of my 2012 (black). I need to replace the left saddle bag, and all three sections on the left fairing area. Having a hard time finding a website to get these parts.. Am I just stuck with contacting my dealer for parts??

There's plenty of places that sell Kwak parts for less than the dealer such as Ron Ayers and others. Be aware though when you order such parts they don't come with anything but the plastic and paint. Everything else is extra unless you can salvage the pieces already stuck on.

You may want to post in the wanted board as well. You never know.

Bike Bandit is where I got mine.

If ZG is done trying to corner the market you'll probably find some being parted out on Ebay.

Jay's snaggin all of the 08-09 plastic, there should be plenty of 10+ out there on EBay.

I've used MOTOSPORT.com before...

just google kawasaki oem parts, there are a bunch of them, they all have the same on-line parts diagrams as the dealers do, but usually 40% plus off, once you get the part numbers off these sites, you can google the part numbers, i saved a ton that way. They usually don't have them in stock, but they come within a few days, have had great success!

Yesterday must have been "support your local Kawasaki dealer" day.
Valve shims: $11 and change, each !!! (I need 7). At least the valve
cover gasket was a reasonable $38ish and the pulse cover gasket was $9ish.
Sheesh.
Spec'd the exhaust valves loose and plan to NEVER check again. :)

That is crazy. Of course it might be CDN dollars or something, but $3 sounds more reasonable. Crap, some places will just exchange the ones you have for other ones at no charge (Honda did for me back in the day).... they don't really wear much, if at all.

Partzilla.com wanted $75.73 for all of the gaskets to reseal the valve cover, Bike Bandit wanted $125 for the same parts. I gave Bike Bandit the chance to meet the Partzilla price and they declined. No more Bike Bandit for me. Too bad because they are a local company for me but oh well, I am not spending $50 extra to support a local company.

I've always found their (Kwaks) parts to be expensive and I've been buying them since around 1995. This is nothing new.
