Title: Colorized civil war pictures
Post by: Rhino on October 07, 2013, 08:53:30 AM
Interesting project to color civil war era pictures. The one of Lewis Powell, Lincoln assassination co-conspirator, looks like it could have been taken today, maybe a still from some movie. Hollywood would have loved his face.

Also I never knew Mark Twain was a 2nd Lieutenant in the confederate army for 2 weeks but deserted. I wonder how he managed not to get hung.

This picture was taken almost 150 years ago. This is they guy that attempted to kill the Secretary of State William Seward.
