I'd like to import that eagle over here.  I know some deer that would just love to meet a Golden eagle.

that IS why the Golden Eagle was considered wiped out in the USA and any of them left, were considered endangered.
Ranchers (prior to federal game protection as we know it) decimated the flourishing population of the Golden, to save their sheep and cattle newborn.
Many years ago I found a pair of Golden eagle claws at an estate sale, and the people actually gave them to me as they didn't want them once I told them what they were....
they were humongus, literally the size of my hand.. ???

They're the best looking, of course.  But as far as the baddest, Golden Eagle takes the goat.

Nope, and the baddest eagle on the planet isn't even the Golden Eagle its the Steller's Sea Eagle.
