Trust me, it isn't the oysters I'm after, it's the ride 8)

If it doesn't pour on Sunday, I'll be there! Annual pilgrimage you know!!!

I will, however, be riding down to Laguna to World Superbikes rain or shine!!

Oysters are almost as good as bacon!

+1 I mostly like them fresh on the half shell but bacon wrapped and fried would work also.

Chet, I bet when you started this thread you had no idea it was going to turn into a food/soft porn thread ;D

This forum carries no expectations ;D  All I know is I love bacon and I see no juice recipes mentioned that contain bacon :o
And FWIW, oysters and soft porn go hand in hand ;D

def, where ya coming from?  I'm going rain or shine, more likely rain.  I will be meating, er meeting with friends in Bremerton at 8, do a bit of riding north, catch a ferry, and have a great day :)

Renaming this the "Moyster Run".  Saw a blue connie sitting proud amongst the masses ;D  Stopped by the Tulalip Casino for a pee break on the way home, leaving my buddy hit a slick spot turning onto the main drag, busted his nose up, banged his forehead, and mashed his hand a bit.  Getting him a real helmet this week, his old lid has survived 2 offs and I think this time he learned his lesson.  I'm taking an axe to it so no worries he will use it again.

Did I mention the slideways rain?  The ferry ride to Whidby Island was rough sailing and the wind coming off the water was stiff, but almost warm.  Rain didn't hit us until we arrived at Anacortes.  We were enjoying breakfast when a canopy outside did the lift off, straight up and than a slow partial twist and landings.  Slow motion, the lady sitting under it looked up with a "what just happened"?  Vendors decided enough was enough and started packing up early.
I gotta give credit where credit is due.  There were alot of V Twins there, at least 4 times as many as I expected.    Kudos to all who attended, serously.
I still dislike formation riding, boring and filled with constant apprehension  An upside?  filled up at 220 miles, just as the reserve light came on.

On to the Ridge Raceways in Shelton for our Military Mentor Training programs Advanced Street Skills.  Gonna be a hoot!!!!!!!!!

lol...I think your new name was bang on for this year!!! Although I ride a blue connie (old school 06) it wasn't mine you saw at the Moyster run. I looked outside at 6:30 a.m. and climbed back into bed!!! Gonna ride to Laguna Seca for World Superbikes so will still get a good ride in.
