No apparent changes apart from colors

Still no cruise. Whats up with that. Seriously have to look at the BMW even though I love my connie.
-
Adding an after-market cruise control is a lot cheaper than getting a BMW!

Specs on that site say 4.8 gal fuel capacity. I guess they mean before the display goes insane and tries to distract you from looking at the road.

That's 4.8 Imp Gal (160 ounces) which equates to 5.8 US Gal (128 ounces)
Yes blame it on Canada (or the UK), our Quarts have 40 ounces and Pints have 20 Ounces (at least that's what they say to me at the pub ! :chugbeer: )

As long as the beer glasses hold more then that, eh! ;D

Hey, that Candy Canadian Red looks strangely familiar.

They're recycling paint again... My God, can't they (Kwak Central) think of anything different?

We already knew there would be no cruise until the next major remodeling of the Concours. It is likely to coincide with a throttle-by-wire.
-
Up on the USA site too. Disappointing - no reason to upgrade...
-
My prediction for 2015 would be cruise control, oxygen sensors, throttle by wireless, and a re-flashed ECU because of so many complaints. The Canadian site says Kawasaki uses the 2 throttle valves to make sure no one experiences the wild out-of-control-torque that happens without them... This is worse than the United States of Nanny.

Oh, I think it will be that and a lot more

You realize they will do the same thing with the throttle by wire, since it would no longer be necessary to have dual butterflies to accomplish it. I suspect they would add performance "modes" like many vehicles have, but it wouldn't surprise me at all if the maps' highest performance mode is not still quelled.

Where? I don't see any 2014 Concours. The 2013 is there...

+3 You can add Rostra Cruise in a weekend.

Not when you include an after market suspension that peforms as the one stock on the beemer (http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j180/stevewfl/bigthumb.gif) (http://s80.photobucket.com/user/stevewfl/media/bigthumb.gif.html)

I still love my Connie I don't care what you guys say nanu nanu. and I wouldn't trade it for two beemers

Not only +1, but you could buy nearly TWO C14's for the total cost ownership of a K16 over several years. So for those two beemers, you could have FOUR C14's!

I love mine too. And i know its a bargain buy and works good for the price. My suspension severely lacking and there are bare-bones options and limited high tech electronics.
But the forum always beats up the beemer with "I could buy a few Camaro's plus maintenance for the price of 1 911 Porsche". Living on that analogy means at the end of the day I'll still be driving a :censored: ing chevrolet around (http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j180/stevewfl/bigthumb.gif) (http://s80.photobucket.com/user/stevewfl/media/bigthumb.gif.html)
and Max that not about your thread above at all my friend, but all the threads and the COG forum too :D

I like the BMW's and think they are great machines. Just way more expensive than they should/need to be :)

Like some Kawi green eh Sparky... ;)

They should take some lessons from you, Jay.

Well then I guess I'll just hang onto my C10! 8)

I traded my BMW in on the concours, and i'll never own another. It's not the cost of buying one that will kill you its the cost of maintaining one.

Here is a better wording- "The cost of buying one will kill you. The cost of maintaining it will then bury you."
-
I guess seeing as I own an 01 Kaw KLR 650 I'm already astonished that they upgraded the C14 once already to a small but needed degree. Kawasaki is not known for updating bikes very often. And I personally hate what they did with the body work on the new KLR. I have only had my C-14 a very short time but I LOVE it.

If you say something enough times on an internet forum it must be true. :o
