I sold my bike and I have several things for sale. I purchased the hitch 7/3/2013 and installed it on my 2011 Concours and pulled trailer one time and have sold my bike. I paid $399 plus $31 shipping and $37 Tennessee tax for this hitch which is $477. I will sell it for $300 and I will pay the shipping. It is the ball hitch style and there Web site is. http://store.bushtec.com/product-p/944412b.htm (http://store.bushtec.com/product-p/944412b.htm) You can call me at 731-333-2759 or E-Mail phildouglas@charter.net I live in Paris, TN.

Two months have gone by and nobody needs a TRAILER HITCH?

I'd buy it but then I'd have to sell my C10 and buy a 14.

How does a 2 wheeled trailer tow behind the bike. I really like the looks of the Third Wheel Trailer that has only one wheel but they are so small. They are located in my home town of St Thomas Ontario. A well made and very slick unit but they only hold 5 cu feet. The big 2 wheeled rigs hold so much more. We are planning a 3 week camping tour next year and I'm on the fence. AND the 2 wheeled trailers are cheap in comparison,,, like 1/2 the price. What did you tow with it ?

I towed a two wheeled cargo trailer behind my old airhead for several years and the biggest thing I noticed was the lack of good acceleration and longer braking distances. I had a 20 cu. ft. POD and it held A LOT. Load it carefully with some tongue weight and good right to left balance, (used a bathroom scales) and it towed well. Good luck. :chugbeer:

I towed a Shur-Kamp popup camper with my 1400 Concours and had no problems at all, pulled to 85 mph and was steady. Get the 10% of camper weight on the tong and you will be OK. Sure didn't lack any power pulling but lost about 4 mpg in fuel.
