Title: Warning for those who use front reflector mount for aux. lights
Post by: h2smokin on July 28, 2013, 12:54:38 PM
I had used the front reflector mounts for my bullets lights as i had seen a few others do on the fork legs. This morning I noticed one hanging by a thread on the left side. I assume it was a stress fracture do to vibration bit it had cracked all the way through and was hanging by about 1mm of metal. The crack was on the 90 degree bend closet to fork. Just a headsup to check them. I have made my own brackets now out of some flat stock for both sides. Would have been a mess getting that caught up in the wheel.

I bought a couple L brackets at a local hardware store and have been using them for the last 3-4 years with my Piaa's.  Haven't had a problem with them.  8)
