The bike is a black 2011 Concours 14 for sale for $
12,200 $11,885 with 13,xxx 14,xxx miles and climbing. I love this bike but want to get the new Ducati Diavel Strada. I'd rather sell it to somebody on this forum than anybody else. You guys are great.
It's very comfortable for both rider and passenger. The rider and passenger heated seats take the chill away very well. It has the Area P full exhaust with carbon fiber can, power commander V, BMC air filter, and the flies removed. I had a custom map made to clean up the low end. The result is a very smooth power curve topping out at 165 hp with 110 torque at the rear wheel.
There is one small paint chip on the gas tank. My buddy did it while installing the bar risers. It’s small and I have the ColorRite paint and clear coat to fix it. The bike fell over once onto the front and back Canyon Cages. It didn’t touch anything else but there are some marks on the cages. It’s not too bad in my opinion.
I hard wired the power controls for Gerbing's heated clothing. It works great. I used the heated Jacket and pants to ride down to Key Largo in January. I'm not selling the jacket or Pants but I'll leave everything else for it.
I have all of the stock parts that were replaced. The Precision Engineering adjustable handle bars are installed but I also have the bar risers and wedges. There are some chrome highway pegs for the canyon cages that I painted Black that are not installed. There’s another set of hand protectors you can have too.
I just replaced both front and back tires. I really don’t think they have 1,500 miles on them yet. The farthest I’ve gone with this set was to Niagara Falls twice. I keep riding. lol
The title is clear and in hand.
It's been kept in a garage.
I did buy the extended warranty at the dealer and I’m 99% sure it is transferable to another person. I’ll verify that before I sell the bike.
Paypal will not be accepted.

Sound thinking! If not, sell the accessories and then sell the bike.

There are people drooling over the extras.
Good luck with your sale.

First, let me say good luck with the sale. But if you end up keeping the Connie, we certainly understand. Here's a brief rundown of my experience in deciding between Diavel vs. C14: The Diavel is an impressive bike. I test rode one last fall. But I opted for the C14. The Connie is heavier, but has more power if I'm not mistaken, and also perhaps has far less expensive maintenance needs. Far more after market support for the Connie, far more comfy on long trips also. The big thing for me was that I could buy TWO Connies for less than the price of the Diavel, and still have enough left over for a KLR. But that's all just me. Overall, there are far too many good bikes, and far too little time!
Hope your sale works out, whichever way it goes.

Thanks.
I'd love to keep this bike AND get the Diavel. Just haven't figured out how to do it. Just started watching Breaking Bad and am getting some ideas. lol

May I ask... Why did you get the install the Givi mounting kit with the Phil's rack ? Doesn't the rack come with the givi mounting kit already installed ?

By using both I was able to move the E55 back far enough to use the Corbin backrest without touching. It also ties in the Givi bracket to the mount on the (plastic) grab rails and is incredibly solid. Each one is good by itself but bolted together it's great.

WELL... you could right up here to Mentor and have me work on the bike, and then, I could say "I lost your fob". And then you could pull your other fob out of your pocket and ride it home.... and leave it outside for the night......better yet, have a root canal done, and be on pain meds, and out for 2 days......
the rest is history.......
you do have replacement value full covereage don't ya? ;)
