Title: Schuberth C3 World, Black
Post by: mvjr1904 on July 03, 2013, 03:42:43 PM
Got this for a late Father's Day/early B-Day gift!
Ordered it on 6/28 from Eagle Motors in Kansas City (just a plug, no affiliation) received it today, 7/3.
No sales tax and free shipping, on sale for $529.00

I was in the market for either a C3 or a Neotec.
I couldn't pass up on getting a C3 for less money than the price of the Neotec.
BTW, a Neo costs $585 here in SoCal.
I wanted to get a Silver C3 World but they only come in Black or White. I got the Black.

I'm going to ride without my molded earplugs to really see how quiet the helmet is and I will install my G9 in a few days.

Ok, it's been a few days. Was it worth the $$?

Just a quick update....
Not as quiet as I thought it would be with ear buds
Less wind turbulence heard with molded earplugs
Very light helmet weight, quality product, it fits my head shape
Gong to have a problem mounting my G9
Don't want to use an iPod, so I got to figure out the mounting issue

2. Top vent moves a lot of air into the helmet but when closed, I can still feel air coming in.
Chin vent also pulls in a lot of air and turbulence/wind noise into the helmet, thus you lose the quietness you paid for.
Chin vent would definitely defog the inner visor.
I did install the pin lock visor but I haven't been able to test it out

Worth it?  F**k Yeah!!
