I haven't been riding a whole lot lately but it's starting to heat up here, and we're getting the 95+ degree weather.
On the temperature strip, in 90 degree weather, the temperature stabilizes at mid point on the freeway in unrestricted traffic and bumps up a notch in slow traffic. In cooler weather it normally runs one notch below that fast or slow. That seems to be hotter than I remember it running the past couple years.
What y'all seeing out there?

Stop worrying... Mine's the same... 8)

What that I put a fresh FOB battery in before that off-road adv excursion?

The temps...

ZG-14 handles PHX temps just fine! 8)
Even when plunking around like Steve... :finger_fing11:
Up to the rider to be prepared, as always. ;)
To the OP
Situation normal, everything is fine, just a blaster malfunction.... :cannon:
*always wanted to use that*
My "gauge" behaves, like yours, in FL just the same as it did in AZ! :D
If you start to smell a hint of that sweet coolant smell it usually means it's time to pull the Tupperware and tighten/check the hose clamps. They can become loose enough to cause a leak that does not result in a drip.
With the plastics off is a great time to do other maintenance/farkle work! ;D

C14 seems sensitive to air in the system. Mine runs a bit warmer since I put a rad guard on it. It will puke a bit out the overflow if I shut it down hot.

09 in Houston, same!

All right. I'll quit worrying about it then.
