Below is a picture of a Helmet Guardian lock assembly mounted on the right side of an 2010 model, (it does not fit the left side) using the newly designed lock bracket made specifically for the Kawasaki Concours 1400.
There are NO modifications to the bike, approximately twenty minutes to install. The bracket is made of heavy duty aluminum with stainless steel hardware and instructions. The bracket has clear, helicopter leading edge tape that goes around the sub-frame to prevent marring. Works with bags both on and off. I was able to locate a Helmet Guardian lock assembly that had the same style key and have it re-keyed to match the ignition key (any locksmith can re-key).
I DO NOT INCLUDE THE LOCK.
For further information, pictures, pricing, please e-mail me direct @ TownsendsFJR1300@AOL.com . Please mention in the header, KAWASAKI 1400 helmet lock bracket, as I design and manufacture lock brackets for other motorcycles.
PS. I manufacture helmet lock brackets for BMW's, Ducuti's that Pirates Lairweb site sells as a kit under "Easy Helmet Lock". This is Pirates e-mail site to see: http://www.piratesk12site.net/ (http://www.piratesk12site.net/) FYI.
I also manufacture brackets for all years Yamaha FJR's also using the HG.
Thanks, Scott

What good is it without the lock?
-
I design and manufacture the bracket only, I am not a retailer for HG and do not sell the lock. (like a GPS mount, its doesn't come with the GPS)..
And yes, without the lock assembly, its useless.
HG's are availbale either online or sometimes carried in your local MC store.
If you rekey the HG lock assembly to match your ignition key, you don't need an additional key to secure your helmet. It also attaches on with NO MODIFICATIONS to the bike and looks factory installed..
All the listed "Easy Helmet Locks" listed at Pirates Lair, http://pirateslair.net/HelmetlockS.htm (http://pirateslair.net/HelmetlockS.htm) , are my design but use BMW lock assemblies...

I have two brackets left, after that, production will be ending.
*Note, when unlocked, the bracket/lock assembly is designed to hold the helmet by the "D" ring and not drop it to the ground.
$30.00 shipped inside the US until their all gone....
Please PM me for further info if interested.
