Title: Warning indicator light blinking mode
Post by: givey65 on April 29, 2013, 07:35:22 PM
I just took delivery on my 2012 leftover C14. Rode it about 200 miles and when I parked it for the night the Warning light kept blinking. According to the manual "push upper and lower buttons simultaneously for more than 2 seconds, within 20 seconds of turning key fob to the OFF position, then the warning light will not blink." Followed this procedure but light does not stop. Next paragraph in the manual says if the light does not go off there is a problem with KIPASS or fuel injection system, no other error messages on dash. Am I doing something wrong?

Why would you want to turn off the anti-theft warning light?  It draws almost no power and will turn itself off in a day or so.

24 hours it cycles, and I too love the illusion of "does this bike have an alarm system" for those pesky folks that get too close to my ride.  8)
