Title: Cee Bailey / Cal Sci small shields

  Looking for a small shield to replace the stock 2012 shield that is not a noisy as stock.  I expect wind, just looking for less turbulence.
CB has a couple models and CalSci has one and maybe there a more that I am unaware of.  Comments?

I and others have found it advantageous to buy a larger shield to replace to stock kawi shield and then cutting the stock shield down for summer wear. Just a thought. I bought the calsci large and cut 4" off the stocker.

Or you could buy a used stock 08/09.  Not sure, though, if that fits.  I really hate that shield but it flows the air...

I can't comment on the CB shield but I have the Cal Sci tinted shorty, a stock '08 shield and a cut down (4") stock '08 shield. I'm 5'5" and the Cal Sci shorty is great for warm/cool/cold weather. I don't get a lot of turbulence with it. The stocker is good for warm weather and I use the cut down stocker when it's hot out.

Yes, it'll fit a '12.

No platforms but I do have a ~30" inseam which helps some.

I got the calsci large specifically to cut down noise. I ride with a blutooth helmet and didn't want to turn up the volume and blow out my ears just because of the windnoise of stock '11 shield.
The calsci allows for a quiet ride.

Standing height means nothing for riding a motorcycle.  Only inseam.  And although I am 2" taller than Conrad, his legs are at least 3" longer than mine.
