Looking for a summer shield, the stock Kawi shield creates a lot of turbulence, I'm about 6'4" tall. How do you like the MRA VarioTouring?
Thanks

I am 6' with a 32" inseam and at full up with the spoiler full up it is fine for blocking wind and keeping noise to a minimum. When it is hot I put it full down with the spoiler still up and get good clean air. If I put the spoiler down there is enough air to pull me off the bike at high speed. Bottom line, I am pleased with the MRA and don't have plans on changing anytime soon.

Not sure if you saw the CalSci group buy on shorty tinted windshields that was posted on this board before it dumped, but it's a decent buy. 100$ vs 120$. I have one and like it, here's a pic. Go Irish!

Being tall as you are I would probably go with their larger shield(only in their catalog). I have found that the air is pretty clean in no matter what the position with MRA. If you need the number and details of the larger I would be happy to send you the info. Send me an email - rowlander@yahoo.com.

I actually want a short shield for summer, so the standard height MRA should be good.
Yeah, saw the group buy on the CalSci. I have their large shield, and it's good, but I think I'm going to try the MRA since it has some adjustment in it.

I've had mine since last summer and love it. I went with the tinted and like it so much, I didn't bother putting either of my winter shields back on..

My first post back. Ah well.
I have a Vario, but moved from the actual screen that came with it and bolted it to the Kawi tall stock shield as an experiment. At 6'4" it works at a sweat spot raised about 2 inches. I also flipped the Vario adjustable part to reduce the buffet a bit more by smoothing it out a bit more.
