Title: Top 3 list
Post by: sas mayhem on June 02, 2011, 05:07:37 PM
I was watching Ride like a pro DVD, again and taking in some of the great info he has to offer.  It is very informative and educational.  I was wondering what are the Top 3 DVD's, books, magazines and websites that you  feel contribute to motorcycle safety and is informative. This is not necessarily  brand specific.  Just seeing what other info is out there, that I might look into.  For me I have this short list,

DVD - Ride like a Pro (excellent real world riding exercises.only one so far)
Books - none yet. but I'm looking at getting Proficient Motorcycling: The Ultimate Guide to Riding Well  and The Motorcycle Safety Foundation's Guide to Motorcycling Excellence
Magazine- Road Runner (excellent touring info here) and Rider Motorcycling at its best
Websites- This one of course ;) , http://www.msgroup.org/articles.aspx (http://www.msgroup.org/articles.aspx) and http://www.sport-touring.net/forums/index.php (http://www.sport-touring.net/forums/index.php)

So what do you all have for a list?

Cheers
Ron
PS If you have more that three ... I'll let it slide.  ;)

There is a book that was transcribed from German? about the connection between a rider and the bike that I've always wanted. Also, just my opinion, but the proficient motorcycling book is worthless if you've been riding any length of time. It's very very basic. I'm looking for more stuff like the RLAP series. Advanced riding techniques, more science less anecdotes.

Not that it's a skills book, bit I liked the Iron Butt Rally book, "Against the Wind."
