Title: Pulstar sparkplugs
Post by: C14PAINKILLER on April 08, 2013, 11:48:41 PM
Anyone using these?

If their claims are true, should be a good plug to get. Better spark, better burn, cleaner engine internals, etc, but prove it!?! Nice they are made on this side of the world.

Is $15 each a reasonable price?

Well, C14PainKiller could try them out and see if the claims add up to what they say..  In looking at reviews across the web I see enough not to buy them....  I'm sticking with the stockers.

Plugs are plugs.  The all make the gas go boom.

Our stock plugs are iridium these do not appear to be so. Iridium is one of the hardest metals and will last much longer. I am very skeptical of these plugs and will let someone else beta test them for me.

According to their website, they are iridium....I had the same thought, though.  They don't advertise it as such on their landing page.

Well ok then. One hurdle jumped for me but I'll still let someone else test them. The NGK Iridium plugs seem to work quite well.

NGK iridium all the way!

Better to stick with NGK. Messing around with something that has no issues and trying to fix it makes no sense to me.

Maybe I'll test them on my DR650. It is trivial to change the plugs on that.

It is not like plugs fail much (ever?) on our bikes and the life is already exceptionally long.
