I love this bike, but old injuries have caught up with me. Just got the news from the knee doc that the right knee needs to be replaced, no more monkeying around w/ scopes.. straight to the hardware for me  :banghead:
 11,000miles.
Never down, have clean title in my name.
Under warranty until September of this year
 PR3's
Vstream windscreen (plus a tall Kawasaki screen)
 Helibar Horizon ST's
 Phil's rear rack
 Givi 52l rear cargo box
 Battery tender
 unheated Corbin seat
Tank bag (can't remember the name brand off the top of my head, but matches the lines of the tank perfectly).
Just bought a Harley, only have one butt so this bike needs to go. Bike is located a little south of Portland Oregon.  Would be more than happy to help w/ a fly and ride.
Thanks for looking, any questions shoot me a message.
Dan

I know it's only been a couple of days, no questions or anything.  Am I asking too much, not the right time of year.. or should I shut up and be patient?  ::)

Be patient.  I wouldn't take less than 8 for my '08, but then again?  The sun is coming out and returns will begin rolling in.  Someone will pay the $8000.  If you need a quick sale drop it to $7500.

Idea, spring for the extended warranty, new guy pays the extra.  I'd do it.

I kicked around the idea.  My dealer says he'll price match the deal on this board.  So if the new owner wants to I can get it done for the extra $ for them.

Mileage is going up.. had a Forrest Gump moment last night after work.  Decided to go on a ride just to make sure I need to get rid of her, end of town, end of county, end of state blah, blah, blah, kind of got a little carried away  :o.  Currently I am in Reno Nevada, and will be pounding Aleve all the way home  :(
Will update to accurate mileage upon my return  8)

;D Those are the best kind of rides, unplanned spur of the moment!  GLWS ..............or not depending on what you decide to do with her.  :finger_fing11:

Looks like a good price.  Sure wish I could go for a ride, 28 degrees with snow on the ground and they are calling for heavy snow near blizzard conditions tomorrow night!  Spring is here. :(

well... I guess a bigger deal came thru for CK.  Congrats on the new house man!  ;D 8)
Back on the market guys, the dealer has offered to buy this bike back from me for $8100.  Just can't stand the idea of them charging a possible inmate here more than that.

My opinion-take the dealer offer, it aint gonna be repeated.  I would lay odds the offer won't be honored, I know the $8000 deal I had was dropped.  I really want a KTM350EXC, but mamma said no way was I taking any more $$ for another bike ($16K for the GS last year).  Sell or deal with what I have.  She doesn't understand why I NEED a 5th bike :o

No longer for sale.  Larry's peg kit, and an Airhawk get my leg straight enough to hold onto her for now.... Plus I just scored a set of used Horizon ST's  ;D

Yeah, got em from over yonder.  Not too sure why they're busting his balls so much.  Talked to him this evening and he seems like a pretty nice guy.  Goes to show this side of things is a better place to be   8)

Damnit!  I was getting ready to PM you to figure out the logistics!

Glad you worked it out though.  I'm looking for one in the Seattle area right now.

If you change your mind anytime soon please pm me or email me at firehawk618@gmail.com

I would still consider selling I guess, but not for the 8k.  I'm into the bike another $800 for the Heli ST's and cables.  Unreal how much it changed the comfort for me on this bike.

When/if you do the knee replacement. If there is any choice in the matter, opt for a drain tube and hit the PT hard. I've watched four buddies of mine to through knee replacements, one of them twice. The guy with the drain tube kept the the knee free and workable. The guys that didn't have the tube fought through lots of swelling and pain during PT.

Enjoy the ride!

Couldn't shake the new bike "need".. and I can't justify owning two bikes, even if the wife says I'm nuts for selling the Concours.  Wouldn't be the first time I've sold something and regretted it  :o
That being said, my Concours is back on the market.  Same price as before, but I'm throwing a Corbin seat and Helibar ST's w/ braided Helibar cables, and an uninstalled Delkevic pipe into the deal (plus misc. maintenance stuff, oil, filter, EBC pads).  Any questions, ask away.. Thanks!
